Frequently asked questions

How often should I pressure wash my property?

The frequency of house pressure washing depends on the environment and conditions of your property, ranging from once a year to several times per week. It is recommended to aim for at least one pressure wash per year to keep your property from accruing long term damage.

Can clean my driveway with a waterblaster?

A power washer is the ideal choice for effectively cleaning your driveway compared to other methods. The nozzles are particularly advantageous as they produce high pressure with low water volume, reducing bounce-back and providing more force against the surface. Using hot water  with a nozzle for at least five minutes eliminates the need for scrubbing, unlike soap or dish-washing liquid. When deciding on the gallons per minute for your machine, keep in mind that higher amounts consume more gas and create louder noise but clean much faster.

Can I pressure wash my roof

If your roofing material is concrete, it's not advisable to pressure wash it. However, if you're dealing with algae or mold that cannot be easily removed, pressure washing might be considered, provided the surface beneath is in good condition. It's essential to be cautious, as cracks, loose shingles, tar paper, or other issues may make pressure washing risky and potentially damaging to the building. Further inspection is recommended to determine the suitability of pressure washing in such cases.

Are water blasters environmentally safe?

We prioritize VOC compliance and are dedicated to using environmentally-friendly products. The choice of chemical depends on the surface being cleaned, and the amount of chemical used is determined by the surface's level of dirtiness. Our power washers are designed to adjust pressures, ensuring gentle treatment of surfaces. For cleaning vinyl siding, we employ a soft washing technique with eco-friendly chemicals and low pressure. In some cases, concrete cleaning requires only water pressure and a specialized flat surface cleaner. As for deck cleaning, the chemicals used are selected based on the deck type and the current staining application.
